Nineteen U.S. Military Veterans were the guest of Haleyville High School for a special veterans program Wednesday, November 9. Ida Ocena Burell, who will soon be 90, the oldest living WWII female veteran in Winston County, was a U.S. Navy Wave during the war. The program included music by the HHS band, choral and solos by Elle Claytor.
