The Haleyville and Delmar Fire Departments, as well as the Haleyville Police Department, responded to a fire call Thursday afternoon on Oakdale Drive in Haleyville. The original call stated that the back porch of a home was on fire, but when firemen arrived at the scene, the entire manufactured home was in flames.  Despite the firemen's efforts, the house was a total loss.  The home was owned by Debra Bowen.  She escaped the fire with only minor injuries.  The fire is under investigation.
