The Haleyville Roaring Lion Band marched in the 2011 Inauguration Parade Monday in Montgomery. The Lion Band was one of about 49 bands, with a total of 92 participants, in parade.  The band left HHS at 4:30 AM on Monday morning for the trip to Montgomery.S

According to Kevin Thompson, "Students, parents, and boosters that made the trip had a great time."
