The Haleyville, Delmar, and Bear Creek Fire Departments, as well as the Haleyville Police Department and Regional Paramedic Services, responded to a house fire at 26170 State Highway 129 at the home of Gary and Darlene Henderson around 3:30 Friday morning. The firemen on the scene battled the blaze, but the home still suffered major damage to a large portion of the home and had smoke damage throughout. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
