The Haleyville and Bear Creek Fire Departments responded to the scene of a fire at a vacant home near the intersection of Alabama Avenue and 7th Avenue around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning. This home was located directly in front of Thursday night's house fire. This home had also been vacant for many years, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
