The Haleyville Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a one vehicle accident on State Highway 13 South, near Burnett Hill Friday night around 6:30 p.m. Alexander Elkins, 24, lost control of the Toyota Tundra and ran off an embankment. Elkins was airlifted from the scene with significant injuries. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
