The Bear Creek Fire Department provided assistance to the Phil Campbell Fire Department on a barn fire around 3:00 a.m. Monday morning. The barn was on the Campbell Farm, near the old Taff Dairy Farm, and it was used to store approximately 200 bales of hay. The structure was a complete loss, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
