The Delmar and Haleyville Fire Departments responded to a house fire in the 10000 block of State Highway 13 South around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. The fire originally started on the front porch but quickly spread and consumed the home. Despite efforts of the firemen, the vacant home was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
