The Haleyville Fire and Police Departments responded to a residential fire on the property of 2587 County Line Church Road Tuesday morning around 10:00 a.m.  The home was an unoccupied rental house owned by Rayford Kelly, and it had previously been used as a hair salon.  The Haleyville Fire Department was able to contain the fire quickly, but there was significant smoke damage to the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
