The annual Haleyville fireworks show has been canceled.  Although the city had agreed to donate $2,500 and Action Properties had approved use of the old Wal-Mart parking lot for the event, it was canceled by the supplier for unknown reasons.  However, the City of Guin will be having a fireworks show at the Guin Waterpark, and Joseph Baldwin will provide entertainment just before the show begins.
