The Haleyville Textile Mill buildings are being leveled following a fire which recently made the buildings unusable. Owner Robert Buckner has contracted the removal of the debris, most of which is bricks. Workers will be cleaning and stacking bricks for a long period of time. Buckner stated eventually he will have 255,000 square feet of concrete pad available for rebuilding. Some of the concrete pad is 6 inches thick and should serve as the flooring for a potentially large industrial building.
