HHS Letterman Amy Putman (volleyball, basketball and softball) has committed to play volleyball at Hungtingdon College in Montgomery. The "Hawks" is a Division III school and a member of the Great South Athletic Conference.
Putman lettered four years in volleyball and basketball and five years in softball. She was the "Lady Lions" volleyball MVP her junior and senior years and was captain her senior year. She a member of the National Honor Society and Delta Theta Chi Sorority.
The "Hawks" won the GSAC 2010 regular season and was second in conference tournament. Head Coach Megan Aiello was named coach of the year in GSAC. Putman will join two other former "Lady Lions" volleyball stand-outs at Huntingdon, Abby Brown and Bianca Hulsey.
