The Haleyville City council met Monday morning with three items on the agenda. Approved were August expenditures of $313,787.27; the purchase of a police car for $9,800; and a CDBG application for road and drainage repairs in the Cumens subdivision in the amount of $405,166. The grant is a competitive grant and there is no local match requirement. The Council meets again Monday, October 1, 11 AM.
