Paradise 92.7 is asking you to keep an eye on the weather for Wednesday, December 23. Another cold front is bringing more showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe by Wednesday afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service is predicting a possibility of tornadoes during the period from 3 p.m. to past midnight in all of Northwest Alabama. 

Because of this prediction, Mayor Ken Sunseri has announced that if tomorrow's forecast calls for severe weather, the storm shelters in Haleyville will be opened. As of right now, this is not the case. 

Continue to listen to Paradise 92.7 for the latest on the weather, but now is the time to stock up on batteries for your portable radio, water and food you may need if the weather situation becomes severe.
