Tag and Drivers License Expired?

A great way to get stopped by law enforcement officers is to have an out-of-date tage.  When does your car tag expire?  It expires the last day of the month of issue.

If your last name begins with the letter P or L, you have through Friday, July 31st to renew your tag.  For August, if your last name begins with J, K or R, you will need to renew.  This is a state wide system of determining who renews when, so it is applicable in all counties. 

 Marion County Judge of Probate, Rocky E. Ridings, as well as the Winston and Franklin County Probate Judges remind you about renewing your tag, and take a look at the expiration date on your driver's license.  Get your tag and driver's license renewed on time, and avoid a possible fine.
