House Fire on 18th Place

A Sunday morning house fire on 18th Place, one block behind the Haleyville fire station, resulted in extensive damage from fire, smoke and water. A hispanic family of four, two adults and two children, were displaced because of the fire. Haleyville firemen were on the scene and quickly extinguished the fire and saved the structure, however there was extensive lost to their personal belonging due to fire and smoke. The cause of the fire is unknown.
