Brilliant Man Killed

A single-vehicle crash Tuesday, March 24, claimed the life of a Brilliant man. Gabriel Lee Haney, 36, a pedestrian, was killed as he was lying in the roadway and was struck by a 1997 Lincoln Continental. The vehicle did remain at the scene, and the driver was not injured. The crash occurred at 7:40 p.m. on Marion County 63 eight miles south of Brilliant. Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
