Monday Closings and Delays

The Area Softball Tournament scheduled to take place at Haleyville High School Monday morning has been postponed due to the impending severe weather. The tournament will be rescheduled for Wednesday. The bracket will be posted Tuesday. 

Haleyville City Schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

Winston County Schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

Marion County Schools will dismiss at noon.

Haleyville Head Start will close at noon. 

Franklin County Schools will close at noon.

Northwest Shoals Community College will dismiss classes at 12:15 p.m.

Bevill State Community College will close at 1:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday classes at Freedom Hills have been canceled. 

The basement of Littleville United Methodist Church will open Sunday night as a shelter and will remain open until all rounds of the severe weather pass. 

The Bobby Bishop Community Center Basement is open as a shelter. 

All Haleyville storm shelters will open if/when a tornado watch is issued.
