Just a comment about a city, about the people of Auburn, Alabama and the students and alumni of Auburn University. As the college sports world witnessed an unbelievable ending to Saturday's Iron Bowl, that will will be forever repeated in television highlights, I have found a new fondness for Auburn. As a guest of an Auburn Alumnus this weekend, I was treated to the Swinging Medallions playing at a street party Friday night. Even met Charles Barkley. I found myself admiring a truly beautiful town and it's people.

Before receiving my graduate degree from Alabama, I took many graduate courses at Auburn (AUM) and have good feelings about both schools. I always pull for Auburn, except the one Saturday a year, right after Thanksgiving in the Iron Bowl. This year was a most fantastic game, with an ending that could only happen in Alabama. Alabama is blessed with some great schools, I know, because my undergradiuate degree is from Florence State, now UNA, and I also took several graduate courses from Troy. I even taught advertising at Troy one semester as an adjunct. I pull for them all.

We have come a long way in both academics and sports and it looks like it will only get better in Alabama. I will always say Roll Tide, but this week, WAR EAGLE!

Good luck to Auburn in the SEC Championship!

In the words of Forrest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that."
