Resurfacing Complete on Highway 195

With the painting of stripes this week, the resurfacing of Highway 195 in Haleyville will be complete. The project delayed traffic for several days as crews worked to remove the old and resurface with fresh asphalt. While it may appear in the photo many Bunn Company workers are doing nothing, they are waiting on the paving machine to move in with indvidual shovels and rakes to complete the paving at the intersection of Lane Hill and Highway 195 in front of the hospital. 

Along with the resurfacing, much needed guard rails were installed in the curve next to the Glasshouse Carwash at the Littleville Road intersection on 195. Mayor Sunseri had asked for the guard rails over two years ago and they were recently installed by the state.
