Alisha Jane Hicks, 24 of Haleyville, was killed in a vehicle accident in Jackson County Friday afternoon. Hicks was a 2007 graduate of Haleyville High School and a 2011 graduate from Auburn University.  Alisha continued her education at Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was completing her last set of clinicals before becoming a registered Physician's Assistant. Alicia is the daughter of Keith and Reba Hicks. 

Alisha was known for her kind heart and warm smile. She was known by many and loved by all. We give our sincerest condolences to the Hicks family during this tragic loss. 

Funeral arrangements have been set at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Visitation will be Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home.
