Dale Vernon Wheeler, 22, Haleyville presently incarcerated in the Winston County jail is charged with burglary 3rd degree and theft 2nd degree.
No bond has been set at this time. |

Air Evac Air Lifts Injured Man to
UAH |

Sunday, Oct 14 -
Bobby Nolf, 36, Haleyville, was riding his four-wheeler north on 5th Avenue just south of HWY 129 when an electrical short apparently caused a fire. Reacting to the fire on top of his gas tank, Bobby jerked the yoke quickly to one side. The four-wheeler began to tumble throwing Nolf onto the pavement. Nolf was transported by ambulance to Lakeland Hospital, and later transferred by Air Evac Helicopter to the UAH Hospital with a head injury. |

Leadership Program has Grown
to a County Level

Ken Sunseri addressed the Haleyville Rotary Club on the Haleyville Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. The Leadership Program is one of the many good programs to come from Haleyville having been selected as an Alabama Community of Excellence in May 2005. The Leadership Program has grown to the county level with the help of grants and civic organizations. To date, there have been three adult and four junior Leadership Programs.
