State Fire Marshall Investigates
Two House Fires and a Brush Fire on 30th Street |
| Saturday, March 24 - 6:05 PM Three mysterious fires, one brush and two house fires. Haleyville firemen responded quickly. One house had been burned out previously. The other house was reportedly empty. With airpaks the firemen found and saved the unoccupied house. The other house fire next door apparently started from a brush fire. Ironically, there was another brush fire across 30th Street at 11:04 PM. It was a small fire which was quickly extinguished. |
