- The
Council approved the council meeting minutes 9/20/05.
- The
Council approved adding Jonathan Lowe to the Haleyville Industrial Development
Board, replacing Red Nichols, who now resides in Franklin County.
- The
Council approved advertising to hire a custodian at city hall.
- The
Council approved the reappointment of the city prosecutor.
- The
Council approved hiring Sherman Hill and Richard Frye, Jr. to the Street &
Sanitation Department.
- The
Council approved paying approximately $2500 of additional matching funds for a
$90,000+ project for roofing work on hangers at the airport.
- The
Council also approved a change order to the original airport project to include
the painting of buildings at the airport. The city will be responsible for approximately
$1,000 in matching funds for this portion of the project.
- The
Council approved a fire station to be located at the airport, pending approval
by the FAA and an ISO rating.
- The
next regular city council meeting will be Tuesday, October 18, at city hall.
