ACAWT Coming to Haleyville

The Alabama Center for Advance Woodworking Technology announced Friday that it is moving into an 18,000 square foot facility located on HWY 129 in Haleyville. Currently, the center resides on the NWSCC campus in Phil Campbell.

Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-AL), State Senator Roger Bedford (R-Russellville), State Board of Education member Mr. Gary Warren (Haleyville), and Mayor Kenneth T. Sunseri provided the initative and support required to move the State's ACAWT's equipment and staff to Haleyville.

ACAWT is the world's most advanced training and educational facility for the woodiworking industry and provides a multitude of services for the primary and secondary industries. Its labs are equipped with the latest in woodworking technology and provide unmatched training experience. Its facility also contains truly-smart multimedia classrooms for learning in the 21st century.

ACAWT's specialized services include business advising, video production, research, beta testing, and consulting.
