Authorities in Morgan County are investigating a double-murder that happened around 8 p.m. Thursday at a home on Church Road in Hartselle.

The victims in this deadly shooting are William Jeremy Hulsey, 43, and Sandra Hulsey, 37 who were husband and wife. Both graduated from Haleyville High School. Jeremy has been pastor of the South Haleyville Church of Christ. Of late, he was the pastor of Aldridge Grove Church of Christ in Moulton.

Authorities have Andrew Hulsey, the couple's son, in custody. He is charged with capital murder.

On Thursday night, authorities found the weapon they believe the suspect used in the shooting. But as to what led him to allegedly kill this couple is still a mystery. The Morgan County Sheriff's Department and the Priceville Police Department are continuing to investigate.
