On Thursday, March 31, a Lynn fireman, Charles Tucker, 56, was on his way home from a grass fire with his 16-year-old son when he apparently had a medical problem and his pickup sped through the Natural Bridge intersection and crashed into a parked empty pulpwood trailer. Mr. Tucker died two days later in a Birmingham hospital. His son Austin Tucker suffered a broken leg. Visitation is 6 - 9 PM Tuesday night at Nichols in Haleyville with services Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Nichols.
