A Red Carpet Affair HHS Prom

Mr. and Miss Havala 2015 Jake Pickens and Emma Raines

It truly was a Red Carpet Affair for the 2015 Haleyville High School Junior/Senior Prom held last Saturday night for the first time not on the school campus. This year's prom was held at the Joint Forces Reserve Training Facility, (National Guard Armory), just off Newburg Road. The facility was made even more beautiful with ferns, flowers and chandelier decorations. The weather was perfect and with open overhead doors leading to a covered patio, the prom party goers had more than enough room to enjoy the evening. 

The tradition of announcing Mr. and Miss Havala, then the senior walkout took place early in the evening. Once the parents left, dancing to the music provided by a DJ with two large video screens kept everyone on the floor for hours. 

Congratulations to Jake Pickens and Emma Rains for being selected Mr. and Miss Havala and the Haleyville High School Juniors for an outstanding job on the venue and decorations which made this year's Red Carpet Affair a night to remember.
