Homecoming week is in full swing for Haleyville City Schools.

UPDATE: There will not be a bonfire Thursday evening. This has been rescheduled for the week of the Hamilton game. More details to follow.

The annual Homecoming Parade will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. Line up for the parade will be held from 12:50 p.m. until 1:10 p.m. The route has a few minor changes from the typical parade routes, but the route for this parade is highlighted with blue arrows on the map above. Immediately following the parade, everyone is invited to attend the pep rally in the gym at Haleyville High School.

Also, because the Haleyville High School Roaring Lion Band will not be able to perform their halftime performance during halftime Friday night, they will take the field at 6:40 p.m. for a pre-game performance. Kickoff for Haleyville vs. Cordova is at 7:00 p.m., and the 2014 Homecoming Queen will be crowned during halftime of the game. If you are unable to attend, check out play by play coverage with Butch Foster and Craig Wakefield on Paradise 92.7. Air time will be 6:30 p.m. to include the performance of the Roaring Lion Band.
