Special Called BOE Meeting

The Haleyville City Board of Education met for a special called meeting Friday evening. The following items were approved by the board.

-The removal of Gaynell Berry from the position of Chief School Financial Officer, while maintaining employment with Haleyville City Schools, effective 10/4/13

-The appointment of Sandra James as interim Chief School Financial Officer effective 10/4/13

-Contract with the Alabama Association of School Boards for services related to the hiring of a new Chief School Financial Officer
