Burleson and Kiser Sign Softball Scholarships

Lacey Burleson and Sydney Kiser are two of four seniors on this year's Lady Lions softball team. Kiser and Burleson recently signed softball scholarships with Calhoun Community College.  Kiser was recruited as a catcher, and Burleson will play shortstop. Both of the ladies were on last year's state championship team and have high hopes of returning to the 4A Softball Championship Game this season.  It should also be noted that the two remaining seniors have also accepted scholarships to continue their educaton. Callie Pendley will attend Columbia State University in Tennessee where she will play third base for the softball team.  Alli O'Rear has also accepted an academic scholarship to Jacksonville State University. Congratulations to all of our senior Lady Lions!
