568 students from nine schools attended the First Responders Career Fair Wednesday at the Joint Readiness Center. The fair was held in conjunction with Haleyville's 9-1-1 Festival.

Represenatives from Lakeland Community Hospital; Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources; Alabama Fire College; Alabama State Troopers; United States Secret Service; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives; NorthWest/Shoals Community College; University of North Alabama; Florence Police Department; AirEvac Lifeteam; Alabama National Guard; Wallace State Community College; Birmingham Police Department; Alabama State Fire Marshal; U.S. Army; and, U.S. Navy were on hand to speak with the high school students about careers with their respective organizations.
