Safe Room Nearing Completion

Haleyville's community safe room is now within three weeks of completion, after almost two months of weather delays. The roof is poured, and still curing, and interior painting is underway. Jerry Farris said that the final weather proofing of the exterior is waiting for dry weather. Final electric, plumbing fixtures, kitchen finishing and interior doors are most of what remains. Here is an interesting fact: the safe room's address is 911 21st Street!
