HHS Lady Lions Win State Saturday, May 19, 2012  The HHS Lady Lions won the Alabama 4A Softball Championship Saturday by defeating Cherokee County, 5-0.
Friday, the Haleyville Lady Lions girls softball team defeated Alabama Christian, 3-0, and Bibb County, 3-2. Saturday morning the Lions defeated Cherokee County placing them in the finals for state chamlpionship and a chance to defeat Cherokee County, making the Lady Lions the Alabama State Champs for 4A high schools.
