The Haleyville City Council on Monday changed its meeting times through the end of June, setting the start time as 11 AM for the four meetings in May and June. The days remain the same: the first and third Mondays.

In other action, the Council approved general operation bills of $612,967.59; re-zoned property on 20th Avenue belonging to Barry Burleson from R-2 (Residential) to B-2 (Highway Commercial); approved three-year contracts with Haleyville City Schools and the Dixie Youth Baseball organization for the ball fields on 13th Avenue; and, approved advertising for full-time employees for Streets & Sanitation.

The next Council meeting is Monday, May 7, 2012, 11 AM.
