A free, site-specific weather alerting system is now available to Alabama residents. Huntsville-based Baron Servcices, Inc., unveiled its “Alabama SAF-T-Net®” program last week.

Alabama SAF-T-Net® (Specific Alerting for Threats) is billed as a “personal weather siren.” It is a fully automatic and patented weather alerting system that uses text messages, email or phone calls to warn subscribers ahead of the storm–only when the subscriber is affected.

More information, including the link to sign up is available [HERE].
