Groundbreaking was held on the campus of Northwest Shoals Community College, Phil Campbell for a new multi-skill training center. The new facility will be located adjacent to the gym. Never before offered at the Phil Campbell campus, the school will soon offer technical training to area students. Technical training has been offered only on the Shoals campus, but soon local students will be able to receive technical training, such as welding, closer to home. Available classes will be announced upon completion of the building and installation of machinery and equipment in November, 2010. |
