DR. VANESSA RAGLAND CELEBRATES 20 YEARS |
Dr. Vanessa Ragland moved to Haleyville twenty years ago October 1. Dr Ragland was born in Birmingham, Alabama, but spent most of her childhood in Georgia. She graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984, and completed a rotating internship at Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan in June of 1985. She began her career at Lee County Co-Op Clinic in Marianna, Arkansas in September 1985, remaining there |

| until September 1989. It was then that she and her family moved to Haleyville, Alabama where she began a solo practice. In 1992, her practice became part of the Baptist Health Centers, and continued until October, 2005, when the physicians in the practice decided to break away from Baptist and form their own company. |
