Nathan King, 40, a driver for Farris Trucking of Haleyville, was on Highway 129 near Brilliant at 8:30 p.m. when he swerved to miss a deer. Loaded with steel tubing, his flat bed trailer and tractor did miss the deer, but the result was almost fatal. The cab of his truck was torn completely off the frame. Nathan actually walked away from the scene but did suffer two broken ribs. |
