In the Winston County Juvenile Court, Judge Michael Newell sentenced all three youths involved in the Easter Sunday morning vandalism spree in Haleyville to serve 500 hours of community service each. All three will be required to serve time at a juvenile boot camp, Level II for the two oldest and Level I for the youngest.
All three were ordered to pay restitution on all the damages not coverage by insurance. They were also ordered to write a 2000 word paper describing what they did, why they did it and how they feel about it. They will be on probation for two years and any violation of their probation will net more time to serve. |
