April 10 - Keith Dunnavant, author of the book The Missing Ring, addressed a joint meeting of the Haleyville Rotary and Lions Club at Banks BBQ Thursday. His book is about how Bear Bryant and the 1966 Alabama Crimson Tide were denied college football's most elusive prize, the national championship. Dunnavant, who is originally from Athens, AL, told of his own background and then shared stories from the book.
