being built in Colbert County in the Barton Industrial Park. The school will soon be offering more specific training in welding and industrial maintenance at the NWSCC campus in Phil Campbell for potential workers at this plant. One building that is presently under construction is 450 feet wide and almost one mile long. Three lines of rail cars will be produced in the plant, hopefully by the end of this year. Well paid welders and engineers will be hired and will be a great economic boost to northwest Alabama. Information on the company National Steel Cars can be found at www.steelcar.com
