COUNCIL APPROVES BONUS TO RETIREES
City of Haleyville

The Haleyville City Council met at 4 p.m. Sunday, with all members present except Barry Warren and Tim Edwards.

Only one item was on the special called meeting agenda. Resolution 08-33 was passed authorizing a one time bonus to city retirees.  The cost to the city will be approximately $6100 which will be paid over a period of time to the employees retirement system, Retirement System of Alabama. This bonus was requested in lieu of a cost of living adjustment. Resolution 08-33 Link
