Local Talent ringed throughout downtown Saturday leading up to the City of Haleyville hosting the Haleyville Showcase Concert Saturday night. Slick Nickel opened for musicians; Gary Nichols, Rollin’ in the Hay, Angela Hacker and James LeBlanc. While weather may have dampened the ground a little, everyone had a great time! Much thanks goes to the hard work of Ronnie Taylor, Sue Southern and the City of Haleyville for their collaborative work in making this kick-off for the Free State Sesquicentennial Celebtation scheduled for June 20-23 at Looney's Tavern.
