Al Temple was the reason for a special called Haleyville BOE Meeting
Only one item was on the agenda Thursday night. Al Temple resigned his position as assistant principal of Haleyville High School. He then was hired as the assistant principal at the Haleyville Elementary School. He is taking the position previously held by Linda Godsey, who has become the Coordinator of Educational Services, previously held by Fran Stewart. The only position open is assistant principal at HHS. Haleyville High School principal Roger Satcher stated he has several applications already and it will not be easy making a selection for a recommendation to the board.
The next regular scheduled meeting of the Haleyville BOE is Tuesday, Jan 29, 7 p.m. in the choral music room.
