Marsha Cox was trapped inside her Ford Explorer following a collision  with a Ford van driven by Larry Manasco. Larry stated his glasses  fogged just as he topped the hill in the curve north of the Haleyville  Veterinary Clinic.

The left side of his north bound van hit the left  side of the south bound Explorer causing it to leave the road and hit  a tree. Haleyville firemen used their new jaws to quickly open the  jammed driver's door on the Explorer. Marsha was transported to  Lakeland ER. Larry Manasco was shaken, but otherwise uninjured.
