Turn Themselves In
Ralph Edwards  Kimberly Edwards
Thursday, February 28
Kimberly and Ralph Edwards, Jr. turned themselves in to the Haleyville  police after warrants had been issued for their arrests. Kim was  charged with four counts of receiving stolen property first degree,  six counts of receiving stolen property second degree and one count of  receiving stolen property third degree. Ralph was charged with five  counts of receiving stolen property first degree, six counts of  receiving stolen property second degree and one count of receiving  stolen property third degree. Both were booked, processed and then  transfered to the Marion County jail in Hamilton. The value of the  property determines the level of the charge. Third degree entails a  value of less than $500, second degree is $500 but less than $2500 and  first degree is anything over $2500. Russellville had previously  arrested the couple with similar charges resulting from an  investigation into the theft from locked storage units in the  Russellville area. Both are reportedly out on bond awaiting court dates.
