Meeting was rescheduled from July 18 because of the run-off election
Mayor Albright and all council members present and the following was approved:
Dixie Youth Baseball
Dixie Youth Team
to promote Haleyville
  • Regular council meeting minutes 7/11/06
  • June general operation bills
  • Head start 5-year lease (Head start will be moving from their 19th Street location to the city owned old Haleyville Elementary School Building on 14th Avenue.
  • $400 to Dixie Youth Team to promote Haleyville at this weekend state tournament in Montgomery. Request made by Hunter Hood, Ben Richards and Conner Kizer.
  • Advertise for a used box truck for the fire department, which will be used to store, and transport equipment purchased with a previous grant.
  • The city council will have a budget planning work session Tuesday, July 25.
  • The next regular meeting will be Tuesday, August 1, 5:30 p.m. at city hall.
