Charles Daniel Arrested

On April 19, 2006, it was reported that someone had broken into the Family Medical Building by breaking out a rear window of the building. Subject(s) then broke into a Medical Arts Pharmacy located in the front of the building by breaking through a glass secuiry window.
At least two bottles of medication were taken from the pharmacy. Several items of evidence were collected including blood and hair samples. The Haleyville Police Department was notified blood samples taken from the scene were a match to Charles Joseph Daniel. It was later found the Daniel was a resident of Haleyville and a customer at the pharmacy several times.
Warrants were obtained for the arrest of Daniel for Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft of Property 2nd Degree, and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree. A $10,000. bond was set on each charge.
Charles Daniel was arrrested on September 6 in the area of the Haleyville Downtown Mall. At the time of his arrest officers found a small plastic bag containing wht they believed to a controlled substance resulting in an charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. See related news story >>>
