Members of the Alabama Renaissance Faire spent time with kids at the Haleyville Library explaining the different weapons used during the Renaissance era, including the culture, the people, the food & feasts enjoyed at that time. Children were allowed to touch weapons, try on helmuts and even dance to music of the era. The Renaissance Faire is always held the fourth weekend in October in Florence, Alabama.
